High Times: Two High Adrenaline Options for Adventurous Nature Lovers in Telluride, Colorado!

Telluride, Colorado

I often have a hard time convincing people to get on board with some of the… um, “scarier” activities I find myself drawn to, especially if they have a middling fear of heights. I’m frequently confident they’d probably love it if they just tried it, but sometimes people need an extra little nudge! 😉 😂
So, if this sounds familiar, then I’ve come up with a bit of a psychological manipulation for you to try:
For an on-the-fence friend whom you suspect is likely to be wary of a zip lining excursion, FIRST present them with the idea of doing a Via Ferrata!! 😜🤣
Try to persuade them in earnest, by showing them videos and articles about the Via Ferrata until they are totally mortified, THEN introduce the more the tame zip lining option as a milder alternative!
They will feel so relieved to be off the hook for traversing a vertical cliff face that they will be begging you to sign up for zip lining… and everyone wins! 😂🤪
🌟For the record, though — on this particular occasion, it was actually SETH who had the idea to do the Via Ferrata! 😱 What a shocking delight — Happy Birthday, Seth! 🥳😘🥳
