Daffron Delights (Part 4): Shady Paths Through Shades of Green

In the final installment of our four-part spotlight on this amazing yard, we see how Covington’s landscape designer Cindy Huddleston manages to create a charming yet functional shade garden to warmly welcome guests as they approach the front entrance of the home.

In two isolated puddles of sunshine, she has even snuck in a couple of stately agaves— giving visitors a little hint of what the poolscape has in store and creating a subtle cohesion between the aesthetics of the back and front landscapes.

Believe it or not, this yard has even MORE special areas than what we were able to include here, but before wrapping up this series, we at least get a small glimpse at the forest path and the flagstone walkways that connect the various areas of the property.

If you haven’t already, watch Parts 1, 2, and 3 for more inspiration and to see how and why certain aspects of this amazing landscape came to be! 😃

Many thanks to the entire Daffron family for being so fantastic and for so graciously allowing us to share their beautiful outdoor living spaces with all of you!

Hopefully this landscape creation will spark joy and inspiration… and encourage others to consider all the exciting possibilities of their own yards! 😍🥳😍
