New Moroxico 013: The Kitchen Rocks!

Sorry, with all the rock puns flying around (mostly thrown by @classicrockstoneyard, lol), I couldn’t resist! It’s just too fitting of a title here, since not only did the actualization of my kitchen design exceed all expectations, it also quite literally includes a ton of beautiful stonework and rocks. 😜

I’ve heard my style called maximalism, I’ve even heard it called “Old World” by folks of a certain age, but I call it New Moroxican.

Haven’t heard of New Moroxico? Yeah. That’s cuz I made it up. lol 🤪

For those of you just joining us, New Moroxico is a house I designed with the initial premise of combining all my favorite aspects of Morocco and Mexico in one aesthetically beautiful and cohesive design. However, as the project progressed, it eventually just became an amalgamation of ALLLL my favorite things from places and cultures around the world (an improvement on my original concept, if I’m being totally honest! 😆)

Anyways, the portmanteau “Moroxico” had already caught on and was too catchy to give up, so I just let it ride! 😜
