Introducing New Moroxico!

I know I’m calling this Moroxico — and why it’s “NEW” Moroxico is an even longer and weirder story, lol— but if you were to ask any of the guys working on this project what the defining element of my design style is, they’d probably just say… “heavy!” 🤣

“Ryan enjoys heavy things, he only brings us the heaviest of things.” 😂

I get frustrated when people talk about interior design like it just involves picking out the perfect throw pillows or setting a pretty vase on a table.

Try getting a five-foot tile mosaic home from Fez.

Or dragging a bunch of gargantuan antique pillars from India through ten inches of mud.

Or having to schlepp 100 lbs. of antique lanterns through the Wadi Rum desert because you didn’t realize when you purchased them that no one in Egypt will ship things on a Friday! 🤦‍♂️

(Fridays in the Middle East are the equivalent of an American Sunday— too holy for many businesses to be open— which is something I wish I’d known sooner rather than later. 🙄)

I bet my camel wishes I’d known that, too! 😂

Anyways, if you can’t tell, I’m simply bursting at the seams to tell all these stories and share all these beautiful things with y’all! 😊
